DOZ S.A. named World’s Best Workplace 2018

DOZ S.A., Pelion’s subsidiary managing Poland’s largest pharmacy chain DOZ Apteki dbam o zdrowie, was named among the World’s Best Workplaces 2018. It is the second time the company has received this recognition. Its employees again cited opportunities for continuous learning and development, underscoring the freedom in creating their own career paths.


During this year’s edition of the awards, organised by the Great Place to Work Institute, DOZ S.A. was also given the title of Ethical Standard Ambassador, which attests to the company’s compliance with the Standard of the Ethical Program developed by Global Compact Poland based on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, setting out conditions for development of companies and institutions.

A combination of these factors with a relationship of trust between employees and the employer has paved the way for us to again receive accolades from the Great Place to Work Institute”.

The international awards programme, run for over three decades, is built around reliable employee opinion surveys about the employer and the workplace. The criteria and methodology are the same all over the world.

“When we collected the award last year, we pledged to make every effort to repeat the success. Our hard work has paid off and today we can celebrate the award again. Today, DOZ comprises 3,500 people, with as many as 3,000 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working at almost one thousand DOZ outlets across Poland, taking care to ensure safe drug treatment for patients. The awards gala was held under the auspices of the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Elżbieta Rafalska, the Association of Congress of Women and the Responsible Business Forum.
