Employees again give blood as honorary blood donors
On the first day of spring, March 21st 2018, Pelion organised its first blood donor session in 2018.
It was the twelfth edition of the campaign since its inception. Employees of Pelion companies showed that even on the Truant’s Day there is no skipping responsibility and charity. 30 people registered for the session, 19 of whom gave blood, with a total of 8.55 litres of that priceless gift collected. Participants included both long-standing blood donors and employees who joined Honorary Blood Donors for the first time.
Blood donation is an element of the Company’s mission to promote long and quality life and of its commitment to corporate responsibility. Blood is a gift of life and the most valuable remedy, saving people’s lives and health.
The next edition of the programme will be held on June 13th 2018.
