Pelion becomes a new investor in DocMorris AG
Pelion S.A. has acquired a 9.68% stake in DocMorris AG, a leading company in the online pharmacy, marketplace and professional healthcare sector operating in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Portugal and France, among other countries.
DocMorris AG – as announced in its press release – welcomes Pelion's decision to invest in the company and is convinced of the potential of the new investor with its extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
The Swiss company DocMorris AG is a leading provider of online pharmacies, marketplaces and professional healthcare in Germany and other European countries. Deliveries come mainly from a highly automated logistics centre in Heerlen, the Netherlands, with a capacity of over 27 million parcels per year. In Spain and France, the company operates a leading marketplace for health and care products. With its business model, DocMorris offers its patients, customers and partners a wide range of products and services. In this way, DocMorris is realising its vision of creating a digital health ecosystem where everyone can manage their health with a single click. The company employs around 1,600 people in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Portugal and Switzerland. In 2024, it had over 10 million active customers and sales revenue reached CHF 1,085 million.
